First class free!
An initial one to one session is recommended for beginners wishing to join a class. Alternatively taking the Six Week Beginners Yoga Course offers a thorough grounding in Yoga. Next course begins Saturday 22nd April 10.00 - 12.00.
Small class sizes benefit students by allowing them to develop individually and with empathic and conscientious attention from Anneliese. Classes at Birchwood Yoga are a maximum of eight.

Yoga Therapy for Mental Health
Yoga Therapy for Mental Health is a process of empowering individuals suffering from stress, anxiety and depression towards improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga and mindfulness.
Classes at Birchwood Yoga embody the tradition that Vanda Scaravelli inspired; that we should work with the body, not against it, utilising the power of gravity and breath to assist us in building a strong foundation and releasing tension in the body.
Mindfulness is challenging as a singular discipline. Movement can help to quiet a busy mind. In our classes at Birchwood Yoga we practice with mindful awareness and often include formal mindfulness practices.
