Slow Sundays 9.30-11.00 a.m

Slow Sundays are a wonderful option for anyone looking to introduce more relaxation and mindfulness into their lives, with or without the commitment of a weekly routine. These monthly sessions focus on somatic, therapeutic and restorative Yoga practices, which are specifically designed to gently release tension from your body, calm your mind and soothe your nervous system.

Each lesson will be based on a theme from the De-Stress Your Midlife course on a rolling basis making them an ideal option for those who struggle to commit to a course. To complement Slow Sundays, the theme will continue in our weekly classes.

Slow Sundays offer a nurturing environment to recharge and rejuvenate. The extended format of these classes allows participants to immerse themselves fully in the practice, making them an ideal choice for those who are busy or live at a distance.

Workshops

For a deeper experience, Birchwood Yoga’s Workshops offer a chance to delve into specific topics, common to women at midlife and beyond, from menopause to pelvic floor health. Set in the serene countryside of East Sussex, near Lewes, attendees are invited to enjoy tea and cake either in the garden or the kitchen of her beautiful home afterwards, making workshops an opportunity for connection.
